A couple of weeks ago I went on one of my most spontaneous trips yet. I got to take a trip back to my favorite state - California. I spent most of the trip in San Diego, as well as Orange and Laguna Beach. From the various beaches, to countless coffee shops and cafes, to the daily adventures, I miss it dearly and wish I was back already. Here are some photos from throughout my trip ~

Florals and plaid were a big trend of the spring season, and we're still seeing them now coming into the summer season of fashion. Here are some of my favorite pieces I've been wearing that incorporate these patterns. Hope you enjoy!
As I previously mentioned, florals are everything, and yellow is the it color of the summer. I threw in a floral hair scarf - my new favorite way to make any hair style instantly 10x cuter!

Coffee is always a priority! You can catch me wearing my Gingham print dress with my tan vans at any given moment. Denim jacket will probably make an appearance as well.

Back to what I was saying about those florals - rompers are an easy go to for a cute and easy outfit. Stop by Kohl's to get your hands on this one!
I had the opportunity to fly out to California for Coachella.....okay, not quite. Instead, I hit up the local pop-up carnival that came to my school's town in Lynchburg, and got some pretty sick photos that give off a fun, Coachella summer festival vibe. I got to shoot with the super talented Isaac Apon - so keep on scrolling to check out some of the photos from the day at the carnival!
Currently, I am interning with League 91, a collegiate company that makes cute and comfy clothing for your university! I get to represent Liberty University, and I got to do a fun little photoshoot showing off some of League's products. Check them out below ~
This year for spring break I was fortunate to check off a lot of firsts off of my bucket list. It was my first cruise and first time out of the country. I went on a cruise to the Bahamas for 5 days, while also spending time in both Georgia and Florida before and after the cruise - going to beaches, Disney, and time to just relax. I am currently back in Virginia and am writing this post as it's 40 degrees outside; I am definitely missing the warm tropical weather already. Check out the pics below to see what I've been up to for the last week and a half!

Last week I got to shoot with the amazing Joseph Hart. Here are some of the amazing portraits that he captured ~
Need a little revamp in your closet? Sick of wearing the same old, same old? I've got you covered - here's some of my favorite pieces I've been wearing around campus this winter.
warm & cozy - and feeling like a teddy bear.
This coat is suuuuper warm and is basically just an easy, stylish way of wearing a blanket around you wherever you may be going. You can snag your very own here from Romwe.
stars & stripes ~
If you know me, then you'll know that fun pants are hands down my current favorite trend. You can catch me almost always rocking a new pair every day. This pair is super fun with the stripes and snap ups on the side. You can get your own pair here from Romwe.
Living in New Jersey definitely has its perks, such as being conveniently close to two major cities, the beach, the mountains, etc. In this case, living so close to New York City makes frequent trips a breeze. It's always nice to come back to New York, because a new adventure awaits each visit!
NYC's most popular tourist spot, also a great spot to take some pics (even though it was way colder outside than it actually looks).

One thing that I always look forward when going to the city is the amazing food I know I'm going to eat. From NY pizza, to acai bowls, to gourmet waffles -I know I'm guaranteed a great meal.
There's always something new to do, see, and experience when in New York. I got to go to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (!!!!!!) and see Chris Hemsworth as the guest (!!!!!!!), went to THE best movie theater, shop, and lots and lots of walking.
I hope you enjoyed this post and be on the lookout for a lot more travel posts to come your way this year!
My name is Gabrielle. I go to Liberty University and I am currently studying strategic communications with a focus on social media management. I am from New Jersey, but currently living in Virginia for school. I'm a big fan of traveling, sunsets, and quesadillas. This is where I write about things that I love and am passionate about.
