We all love summer for so many reasons especially our summer, beachy hair. As the summer comes to a close it's important to refresh those ends. This doesn't mean you need to cut all your hair off. Hair grows about an inch a month in the summer, so you have a little extra hair to spare come fall. Why not freshen up your ends and add some internal layers to give your hair a little more movement going into the fall. The best part about fall is the wardrobe change, so why not change your hair to compliment your style. That's exactly what my friend Jeffrey Jagling at Art + Autonomy Salon in Soho, NYC did for me. My hair means the world to me. It's my favorite accessory and I love to style it all different ways. Jeffrey has a special way to layer hair that he likes to call 'internal layers'. His technique allows your hair to stay long but still have movement and it doesn't look like just a boring one length haircut. Jeffrey and his team are truly artists and use their skills to give you the best style for you and your hair!

At the end of 2016 I made a goal for myself to finally visit California sometime in 2017. Not only was I able to visit once, but twice so far. Back in May, I told you about my amazing experience I had attending the PINK Nation Motel event with Victoria's Secret and College Fashionista in Palm Springs, California for the weekend. In July, my dream trip to California that I had been planning since March finally came true and it was everything I could have wished for and more. I went with one of my best friends, Kayla. We didn't do your typical "stay in one city and spend a week there" kind of trip. In fact, it was the complete opposite. We traveled all over the state of California, from LA to West Hollywood to Big Sur to San Jose to San Francisco to San Diego to Anaheim to Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. All in a week. We got a lot accomplished and had the time of our lives. I got to see lots of my friends that live in California as well which was so great. These are some pictures of our trip at every city we stopped at. Keep scrolling to follow along on our adventurous week -- Hello LA! A 5 hour flight deserves a stop for some food, so we stopped by Mel's for some burgers & shakes. Romper: DAYLEE Day 2 began with hiking from the Griffith Observatory to the Hollywood Sign SAN JOSE / Bruno Mars Concert En route to San Diego. This was my view out of the window on the train! San Diego / La Jolla Dress: PacSun Newport Beach / Laguna Beach Two Piece Set: Papaya This trip made me fall in love with the overall atmosphere of California and made me realize that it is definitely a place I want to end up living in at some point of my life. Excited for my next trip back soon!
Xoxo, Gabrielle HELLO AND HAPPY AUGUST!!! It's been a little while since I've made a new blog post. But I'm here to update you on my crazy busy life!!! July has been a month full of traveling and spending time with some of my favorite people. July also included the highly anticipated trip of mine that I've had planned since March - visiting California. This wasn't your average trip of staying in one city for a week and exploring different things within the city. Nope. We went above and beyond and literally hit up a new city every day. From San Fran to San Diego, we covered it all. I got to spend time with so many friends and have the time of our lives! This summer, one of my goals was to create a video of one of my trips that I was going to be going on. This is something I've wanted to do for a while now but kind of just kept putting it aside. When my California trip came around, I knew that I had to finally get on my grind and make sure that set my priorities straight to come up with some great content to achieve my summer goal! Well, I did, and BOOM. here it is. ENJOY!!! I'm super excited to hear your feedback and begin to create more content to share. P.S. A more detailed Cali blog post with lots of photos, fashion, details on what we did, etc. will be coming your way so be on the lookout for that super soon!!! Xoxo,
