I just got home from my trip to Florida, and I really did not want to leave. Florida is my home away from home, and whenever I visit new adventures await. During this trip, my family and I traveled all over Florida - from Orlando to Tampa to Miami. It was a lot of fun exploring new places I've never been to in Florida. Here are some photos of my favorite memories while there. The newly opened Disney Springs section - full of amazing restaurants and stores such as Sprinkles, Zara, Sephora, MAC Cosmetics, American Threads, Everything But Water, and many more! #FloridaFashion featuring looks for an upcoming post on College Fashionista, and photoshoot that I did for MTV! Miami, you are a DREAM. The Polynesian Resort will always be a favorite of mine. And man, this sunset - I'm speechless. Tampa explorin'. The Orlando Eye. Twistee Treat. The Boardwalk, day and night, or what I like to call #DisneyAtDusk DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY I'm super sad that this magical trip has come to an end, but I'm excited for what's to come the rest of this summer - including many exciting opportunities I've been able to be a part of and I can't wait to tell you all about them throughout the summer.

I don't know if it is just me, but it feels as though my life is flying by. These last couple of weeks have been some of the busiest of my entire life. From studying for finals and working on projects, to finishing my freshman year of college, I figured that coming home my life would slow down a little. However, I was completely wrong. After now being home for a week, it feels as though every day I have had something going on. From numerous job interviews, to finding out I was selected to not only continue my internship with College Fashionista for the summer, but also become a social media intern for the company (which I am SUPER excited about and the many opportunities that are to come throughout the summer), to my birthday (which was yesterday!!!!), this week has been insane. It's so crazy to think that at this time last week I was still in Virginia at college, packing up my dorm room and ready to head home for the summer. I'm going to miss my friends from college so very much during this summer, but I am so excited to finally be home and all of the exciting opportunities that are to come this summer, and being surrounded by my friends and family here at home. Amongst the craziness, I have still found some spare time to go on some adventures within my last few weeks at school, as well as this past week while I have been home. Of course, I've missed NYC so much so I had to make a trip there as well. I went on Thursday with my friend Dominique to celebrate my birthday a little early. It ended up being one of my favorite trips into the city, with beautiful, 74 degree warm weather. Here are some photos of some of my favorite memories from these past few weeks. Some photos from my interview & photoshoot with Fashioned Flames, a blog and Instagram account that finds style around my school's campus. You can find their post here: https://fashionedflamesblog.wordpress.com/2016/05/13/gabrielle-odonnell/ and check out their Instagram account as well, which is @fashioned_flames. From brunch with my mom at one of my favorite places at home. Hawaiian french toast & an egg skillet, completed with an iced chai to create the perfect meal. Man oh man, this view! Something that I'll definitely miss about Virginia is having the Blue Ridge Mountains as your view every day. These are just a couple of my favorite shots from a shoot that I did with my friend Courtney. I celebrated my birthday a week early with 5 of my friends since I wouldn't be in Virginia for my actual birthday, as well as this being the last time we would all be hanging out together before the spring semester came to an end. Before the night began, we stopped by a park to take some pictures. These are just a few of my favorites from that day. This place felt so magical, like I was on a set for a movie. Exploring abandoned places make the best pictures, am I right? My friend Mackenzie and I did a little shoot here and I was so in love. The last day of exploring around Lynchburg concluded with rooftop photoshoots with Mackenzie. Another thing that I'll miss so so much about Virginia is taking trips to Charlottesville or Richmond for some delicious Duck Donuts. New York, you are a dream. This was one of my favorite and most unforgettable trips to the city. Exploring new places with one of my best friends, Dominique, made the trip even better. Rainy days aren't so awful. My friend Jenna and I salvaged this dreary, rainy day and made the most out of it by exploring some abandoned buildings and finished our day by going to a diner and getting some food to snack on. (I was diner deprived for many months and had been craving diner food, since diners apparently aren't a thing in the southern Virginia area?!) I spent my birthday yesterday with my family, which was nice to have a relaxing day after all of the craziness that has been going on. I'm really looking forward to celebrating my birthday in Florida in a couple days. Be on the lookout for many photos and fashion looks from Florida. I'm so excited for these upcoming summer posts!
