All in the details~

It is only about a month into my second semester here at college and I feel as though I've already done a lot of traveling and gone on numerous adventures. About two weeks ago I was able to go to some pretty cool locations with some friends and take pictures. The focus of our shoot was details, and how important they are to an outfit. 

I got this lace up dress from Macy's for Christmas (similar style, and in maroon). Lace up dresses have been quite popular this season. The thing I really like about my dress, however, is the lace detailing that runs throughout the whole dress. 

The detailed knee highs complete my look by adding a finishing touch to the dress.

So. Many. Details. From bracelets to backpacks, Wes's look has about every kind of detail possible. The bright orange Herschel backpack gives a nice pop of color to the look. Plus, the colors in his outfit all flow well, which makes him look very well put together.

Not only can clothing be detailed, but hair as well. Lauren's beautiful up-do is very detailed, with braids and curls surrounding her whole head. 

How much more detailed can you get than patches? Hope's military jacket, which I am obsessing over, is the perfect example of details. Randomly placed, the patches give pops of bright color throughout the whole jacket.
