hey everyone! it's been a little while so i wanted to update you on a pretty exciting moment that just happened yesterday -- i cut my hair!! if you've been around me recently you've probably heard me complaining about how my hair is too long and has been feeling gross and how i've wanted to change it up. i ended up coming home for the weekend last minute and booked an appointment at my salon back home in new jersey to switch up my look. if you can't picture it, my hair was LONG. heres two pics just from last week of what my hair was looking like.
it's been a little while since i cut it, so i wanted to give my hair a new look and a healthy cut. and below you can see the results!!
there's a difference in length yet definitely still long, but now healthy and full of volume! super excited about this change up, especially because it's right in time for spring break!
Earlier in the semester, my friend Ashlyn and I did a fun shoot with my new friend Brandon. These photos turned out amazing and I was able to showcase my two different senses of style - trendy & unique from head to toe, and comfy casual - basically what I'm probably wearing around my home or going to class. These photos turned out absolutely AMAZING, and I hope you enjoy them too!
sweater - forever 21
skirt - topshop
booties - macy's
In this post, I'm excited to show you guys the pieces I received from Femme Luxe that are perfect for any occasion - the gym, comfy casual, going out, and a going to class or work/every day OOTD. Their Women's dresses are some of my favorite pieces. I'm obsessing over these pieces and I hope you will love them as much as I do!.
Athleisure has to be my favorite trend right now. Whether going to the gym, going to class, or just to be comfy while running errands - I'm a huge fan of this look. The Camel Crop Jumper Loungewear set (shown in the first photo) is super comfortable. As shown in the second photo, this black loungewear set is another favorite. With the white stripe detailing, it makes a very sporty look that can be worn to show style but also comfort. In the third photo, I paired both sets together to show that they could be worn together to create a whole new look!
I am OBSESSED with this jumpsuit - it's the perfect look for a night out! Pair it with some heels or booties and you're set! It's super comfortable too which is a plus!
This mustard bodycon dress by Femme Luxe is the perfect look for work/class or an everyday OOTD to grab lunch with your girlfriends! I love the color since it's great for any season. I paired it with a pair of over the knee boots since it's still pretty chilly out.
Hope you all enjoyed these looks - and make sure to check out Femme Luxe and all of their super trendy products!
Before I left for winter break, I was able to do a shoot with my friend Isaac - check out his work here! It had just snowed, so we were able to take some snowy pics outside as well as some in my apartment for a homey feel. Check out some of the shots from this shoot below!

Over at Basic Invite, you can create holiday cards of all kinds to send to everyone! I love design and color, and couldn't be more satisfied with the cards I designed and received. It definitely sets them apart from any other online stationary company I've ever used!

Their watercolor holiday cards are beautiful in design and follow this same step! You can create and try one out to see if you like it before you place your order for the holidays.

With the semester flying by and being the fastest one yet, I can't believe I haven't been able to sit down and write a post since August....the SUMMER. This post is just a little update of what I've been up to. It's been a crazy busy semester taking 18 credits, working two jobs, homework, and trying to maintain somewhat of a social life.
I was fortunate this semester to get a job as a social media manager with a local boutique that I have absolutely been loving. It's been a lot of fun taking charge and changing things around to help improve the store's business all in all. Assisting and styling photoshoots, creating content for all social media platforms, and responding to comments and questions is just a little glimpse in what I am doing on a day to day basis.
I also am working with intramural sports as a scorekeeper and have had the best time working this job. It's been a super easy way to meet so many new people as well as build relationships with the people that I work with who are probably some of the funniest people I know.
Of course, I've also had some time to take some trips this semester, which have kind of been all over the place - like to Raleigh, DC, Orlando, NYC, etc. Traveling is almost a stress reliever for me so whenever I need a little getaway from school and reality, a weekend trip always sounds like a good idea.
As the holidays are right around the corner I'm happy to be home for Thanksgiving spending time with my family and friends in New Jersey, and then finish off the last two weeks of the semester strong - with finishing up finals and who knows what else will come my way!
I look forward to keeping up with blog more as things slow down and I'm back home for winter break to continue with what I do best - fashion, travel, and lifestyle. I wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I had the opportunity to do a collaboration with American Threads while I was visiting Orlando a couple weeks ago. I got to shoot around the coolest locations with my super talented friend and photographer Laur Fernandez. Check out the amazing job she did below ~

HEY GUYS! So this is something that has been hiiiiighly requested by many, so yes, I am finally creating and putting together this post - my skincare routine!! A consistent skincare routine is super important in order to constantly have clear, healthy skin! Whenever I stray away from my routine - whether it be from traveling, or simply just being lazy, I definitely can notice and see my skin not looking as glowing and refreshed as it should be, or even worse, a breakout!
I wanted to make this post as easy and to the point as possible, so I put together a Style Board through Nordstrom which puts all of the products I'm going to talk about into one link so it's super easy to shop all of the products together! Whether you're interested in purchasing them all or only one or two, you can do so through this link here! http://tinyurl.com/y8373qw4 (fyi: all you have to do is create a quick and easy account on nordstrom.com to view the board with all the products listed below - any questions send me an email or message on Instagram -- I'm here to help!!)
SO LETS GET STARTED! Obviously the first step, you gotta wash your face. AM AND PM PEOPLE!!! - when you wake up and right before you go to bed. My go to cleanser is the 'purity made simple' one step facial cleanser by PHILOSOPHY.
I LOVE this facial cleanser because it works great for both morning and night uses, AND removes your makeup! I've been using this bad boy for years now and I highlyyyy recommend it. (Plus, it smells suuuper good).
After I've washed my face with Purity in the morning, I use Skin Inc's Hyaluronic Acid Serum (this can be used both in the morning under your makeup as well as at night before bed!!)
Hyaluronic Acid is just flat out amazing. I found out about it probably back in March from a friend that recommended that I should try it out. And let me tell you - IT WORKS WONDERS. It's an almost instant face repair! This stuff helps keep your skin balanced, help reduce acne scarring, and prevent any type of acne to pop up on your face (even those super duper tiny whitehead bumps!!) HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
After that's dry and set on my face, I use my favorite moisturizer that's perfect for under makeup - Elemis Superfood Day Cream.
I've found this to be my favorite moisturizer I've ever used, especially for that busy, on the go lifestyle. I have combination skin so any type of oily product is not my friend. This guy works wonders and helps reduce any oily look to my skin. I've noticed some moisturizers that I've used in the past under my foundation would make my skin look shiny and oily instantly after application, but this one keeps my face matte and looking fresh and healthy!
When my day's done and I've washed my face and makeup off with my Purity cleanser, toner is the next step - and I enjoy using Kiehl's Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner.
I wanted a toner that's going to do it's duty without drying out my face. This toner does just that, while leaving me feeling fresh and clean and glowy after use.
Next comes Lancome's Genifique Eye Cream - which is a great eye cream to use at night.
Keep those under eye bags away and stay looking youthful with this product!
Afterwards I apply my nightly serum, Chanel's BLUE SERUM.
This serum is wonderful to use to help even out the skin tone, reducing wrinkles, and creating firmer skin.
Finally, I use Chanel's HYDRA BEAUTY CREME Hydration Protection Radiance as my nighttime moisturizer.
This moisturizer is amazing and extremely lightweight which is something important that I look for in a moisturizer. Heavy creams tend to be oily and cause breakouts, so this lightweight water based product is just the perfect item to use right before bed.
I'm also going to show you my two current favorite face masks (something that I'll use only a few times a week). The first is a honey based mask, made by Savor Beauty. The Detox Manuka Honey Mask is made with real honey!
This stuff is amazing because it helps banish breakouts and restore's the skins moisture levels. Amazing for all skin types!
Lastly, probably the most trendy face mask on the market right now is anything by GLAMGLOW, but especially the SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment.
Personally, I like to use this face mask as a spot treatment instead of a full facial. If I notice a pimple pop up, I'll put some of this treatment on the area and sleep on it overnight. When I wake up, 9 times out of 10 the breakout is nearly gone, or extremely reduced in size.
Skincare products are a big factor in keeping your skin's standards high, but internal proper care is also important. Eating the right foods, and cutting out sugars can also help keep skin clear. Another important step is your water intake. It is definitely true that drinking lots of water helps flush out the impurities in your system and keeps you energized throughout the day. I've been on a water cleanse kick for about the past two weeks and I have already noticed my skin looking better than before, and not feeling as tired throughout the day. Maintaining a consistent schedule in how much water you consume a day can be difficult, but there are plenty of apps to record it, as well as simply jotting down a note in your phone. I'll start my day off my drinking a bottle of water, and then bring multiple water bottles with me into work and make sure I consume them before I leave the day when my shift is over, and then have some more water when I get home and before I fall asleep. (Disclaimer: yes, you'll have to pee pretty often throughout the day, but it's a great strategy to clean out your system and I highly recommend it to all!)
Hope you enjoyed this post and that it was beneficial to you in any and every way possible. Again, you can shop the link here to purchase any of the items listed in this post. If you have questions about any of these products, feel free to shoot me an email or message on Instagram and I'd be more than happy to help!
Finding the perfect festival attire typically tends to be one of the biggest *struggles* before even attending. This year, I went to Firefly Music Festival in Delaware. I wanted my outfit to incorporate some of this summers biggest trends, and full of bright colors. While doing some online shopping I came across a fun, multi colored top and instantly knew it was the piece I needed to create the look.
Here's the rundown:
